The “Un-Riesling” from Italy

I tried this Gold Muskateller last night and it was quite interesting! Apricots and honey aromas,  totally crisp and dry on the palate with a little minerality on the finish … If you are looking for a dry white wine with great aromatics and a good accompaniment with various  seafood, or chicken dishes for under $20 this wine is sure to please.

You probably won’t find it in many stores, since it is a bit of an unknown, but I found it in High Spirit in Bayonne, where they have a great selection of wine and a very knowledgeable wine and spirits consultant on staff.
