ST FRANCIS WINERY WHITE SPLASH 2010
California $13.00 (hint Frugal MacDoogal has it for less if you’re in Nashville;-))

Greetings Notable Wine-ers,
Just saw this new release from St Francis Winery
in my local wine shop today.
I have been a big fan of St Francis Winery for many
years. They have always produced great red wines,
Merlot being their best, a super Cabernet Sauvignon,
and a rich and flavorful Old Vines Zinfandel.
The White Splash is made from a blend of Viognier,
Pinot Grigio, Malvasia and Gewurztraminer.
I thought it may be on the sweet side, and I was
pleasantly surprised to find the wine had all the
nuances one would expect with this unique blend,
yet it was completely dry.
This is great selection as an aperitif, and looking
forward to the holidays, if you enjoy a white with
your Thanksgiving dinner, give this a try. It will
also pair well with any of your favorite seafood
dishes.
Cheers!!
